My latest talks include 'A Turbulent History of Pub Life in Lewes'. This examinines the life around the many pubs in Lewes town during the turn of the 20th century, and delves into the police court reports, revealing a humorous collection of tales of drunken behaviour.
Another current talk is entitled 'A Sporting History of Sussex: from the amazing to the bizarre'. This takes a look at the many unusual sporting activities within the county over the past 200 years; from jingling matches to menagerie races.
I have spoken for many organisations and societies, including the Lewes History Group, Brighton's Catalyst Club, the Eastbourne Society of Sussex Folk, Alfriston & Cuckmere Valley Historical Society and the Ringmer History Group.
